Which (usually) helps the time go by quicker.Amandahttp://www.mtnbkrsjoeandamanda.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4191304111018050219.post-13755643174702256082009-01-08T05:52:00.000-08:002009-01-08T05:52:00.000-08:00I tried something new on the trainer last night th...I tried something new on the trainer last night that might get you past your 5 minute Ripa-Ray issue. <br><br>When I was running during CX season, 3x during the run I'd do a set up pushups, crunches, jumping jacks, plyometric stuff etc to essentially get a core workout and a run all-in-one. <br><br>So, last night on the trainer, I split up 3 long 15-20 minute hard big ringing slow cadence climbing type intervals with exercises in between. Also had the I-pod on while watching TV with the sound down. An hour and a half went by super quick and beat me down good.
