Evidently running a bunch and riding everday in the snow to work takes a toll on you. Last week I went out on Saturday and although I took it easy my left quad turned into concrete on every climb. I felt pretty bad and crampy the entire time. And on top of it the melting black snow turned my chain into rust.

So this is quickly turning into a bitchfest. And I feel silly over-training and on top of it ruining my bike. But I guess I can only learn from my mistakes. I quickly readjusted my training — making a plan for the year — and I hope be smarter about maintenance.

Lemme know if you're doing Frosty Toes...I've got a slight hankerin for some racin'
